DIY acorn earings/ Naredi sam – uhani iz zeloda

When I’m outside when it’s good weather, and when we’re at the sea side, I always pick something off the floor 🙂 …

From little stones to shells and little fruit from the bushes. You can find many things and one of them which I like is – in Slovene we call it ognjeni grm – fire bush, if I translate it directly in English. I think it’s called Pyracantha coccinea ‘Teton’ (Scarlet firethorn).

It looks like this (source):

Basically all you have to do after you pick little orange fruits (it grows in the winter), you dry them. When they’re dry they are still very soft so you can put a needle through it and make different kinds of earings with it. I put mine with acorn and little wooden balls.

Enjoy 🙂
